Located in Wuhan, China, the Sincere Garden Sales Center draws its inspiration from the city's rich historical and cultural heritage. The design team at We Architectural Design has skillfully balanced oriental aesthetic themes with the local context, extending the simplicity and charm of the building to the indoor space through modern materials and craftsmanship. The oriental architectural symbols are simplified, creating a space that is both peaceful and inviting.
The Sales Center's unique properties lie in its ritual structure of eaves, wood veined aluminum finishes, and the traditional tenon and mortise structure. These elements, coupled with the large area of glass that brings in ample lighting, create a serene environment that bridges the gap between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The building's realization technology is another aspect that sets it apart. The exterior adopts a gray palette, transparent glass, imitation stone paint, and a blend of aluminum plate and stone, showcasing the texture aesthetics of the building. The interior design, based on the concept of "restoring nature," uses wood veneer with annual rings to echo the ancient camphor trees in the garden. The use of off-white sandstone, black stone floor, walnut veneer, and partial bright copper creates a natural and calm atmosphere.
One of the challenges faced by the design team was integrating the minimalist aesthetics of the building facade with the old oriental style of the interior design. The team proposed several design plans and, after collaborative efforts, achieved the most ideal effect. The result is a space that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, as evidenced by the client's satisfaction with the design and completion result.
The Sincere Garden Sales Center was awarded Silver in the A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is given to designs that exhibit outstanding expertise and innovation, strong technical characteristics, and splendid artistic skill. It is a testament to the design team's dedication to creating a space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
In conclusion, the Sincere Garden Sales Center is a shining example of how traditional aesthetics can be seamlessly integrated with modern design principles. It is a space that not only serves its purpose as a sales center but also stands as a testament to the rich cultural heritage of Wuhan, China.
